Ashley is a lifelong movement enthusiast, experienced dance educator, and Pilates instructor whose approach blends technical precision, artistry, and thoughtful attention to detail. With nearly 20 years of Pilates practice and study, Ashley has explored the method with numerous teachers and instructors around the world, gathering inspiration and unique teaching techniques that continue to shape her classes today.

Her teaching honors the foundations of classical Pilates while incorporating creative sequences, intentional movement, hands-on refinements when appropriate, and those special touches that transform a workout into something more meaningful. Ashley believes Pilates should be more than a series of exercises; it should be an experience that challenges, restores, and inspires. Her classes are designed to help students build strength, improve body awareness, move with intention, and leave feeling accomplished, connected, and refreshed.

As the owner of Encore Dance Studio in Adrian, Michigan, Ashley brings 30 years of studio ownership and leadership to her work. Her extensive background in ballet, dance education, choreography, and instructor development informs her thoughtful approach to movement, alignment, musicality, and the individual needs of each student. Whether teaching a seasoned mover or someone discovering Pilates for the first time, Ashley strives to create an encouraging environment where every person feels welcome and empowered.
